At AmeriMark, we value our customers and respect
their privacy. We collect customer information in an effort to improve your shopping experience and to communicate with you about our products, services, contests and promotions. We recognize that we must maintain and use customer information responsibly.
When obtaining information from you, we follow a
simple, common sense principle: we ask only for the information we need to provide the service you request. And if you purchase something, we need a credit card number.
AmeriMark collects usage information when you visit
amerimark.com. Web site usage information is not personally identifiable information. It describes how our web site is used and navigated, including the number and frequency of visitors to each web page and the length of their stay. It also includes the domain names of browsers that visit our web site, the time of day the web site was visited and other non-personally identifiable information. All information collected will be use to improve the shopping experience at amerimark.com
In addition, like many Web sites we use "cookies"
to obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses amerimark.com. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser. They enable our systems to recognize your browser and to personalize your shopping experience (including storage of items in your Shopping Bag between visits).
The "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers
will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies or how to disable cookies altogether. However, cookies allow you to take full advantage of some of amerimark.com's features (e.g. personalization and storage of shopping bag items), and we recommend that you leave then turned on.
We may use information that you provide to tell you
about carefully screened products, which we feel, may be of interest to you. Also, we may share our mailing list (your name and physical address) and your general shopping activity information with a few select companies whose products and services are similar to ours. We do this because most of our customers enjoy being introduced to new or value oriented products/services. In addition, we sometimes use e-mail addresses to contact visitors who communicate with us. For example, we send e-mail to visitors who provide us with their e-mail addresses for specific purposes such as providing information about promotions or responding to an inquiry. In addition, we also may market certain third party services through our site. If you accept the offer, we will pass your relevant personal information, including name and credit/debit card number to that third party.
If for any reason you do not wish to receive
communications from AmeriMark, from affiliated third-party merchants, or any interested third parties from whom we think you may want to receive information, just tell us. Call us at 1-877-268-9594 and one of our customer service representatives will gladly assist you. Or contact us through the Contact Customer Service section of this site. Also, all of our promotional emails allow the recipient the opportunity to opt-out of future promotional email mailings. Please understand that if you have previously unsubscribed, but then later consent to sharing your information by acceping a third party's marketing offer, we will share your contact and billing infomarion with that specific third party.
If our information practices change in the future,
we will let you know before we use your information in a manner not previously disclosed in our privacy statement by posting the policy changes on our website or communicating directly with you. At that time, you will have the opportunity to opt out of any new use of your information.

registered on amerimark.com from the computer you registered from by clicking on "My Account". After entering your email address and password, you can view and update your information as needed, or you can call our customer service department at 1-877-268-9594, and we will be happy to make any changes.
