I got this in size 12 ..I am a size 10 with some tummy issues ..I thought size 12 would fit with no problem ..now I am going to send back and try a 14..it did make me look a lot thinner :) I liked that ..I think it was well made for the price ..If you have no issues with fat ..then I think you would be ok with size
