These are a cute shoe for Spring and Summer. I am always looking for unique flats for Spring and Summer, that I can slip on and go. These really fit the bill, they are comfortable and you can't beat the price. I am always glad to find some so reasonably priced, since I wear them throughout the Spring and Summer and usually have to discard them, and buy new ones,at the end of the Summer.
I live in a neighborhood where ladies are supposed to wear stockings but I hate wearing them in the summer. I can't wear regular open sandals that show the toe, but I want a summery shoe. These are perfect because, with a long skirt, it's not obvious that I'm not wearing stockings. They're so inexpensive that I got them in 3 colors - blue, black and beige - to match everything I have. They also stand up to wear - unlike some other shoes I purchased in the past. They look nice with the pretty crochet, but they're not exactly a fancy shoe.
